  1. Is 3Twigs an organic bakery? How are you locally sourced?

    All items are made from scratch using all natural ingredients. All foods, whenever possible, are local + organic. We love using our local farmers markets whenever possible and have built great relationships with farmers and other vendors from all over central Illinois.

  2. Why can’t my order be filled?

    Our pastries are baked fresh daily in small batches and our flavors are always correlating with what’s in season. We plan our baking schedules out weeks in advance to be able to time everything correctly with already placed orders, weddings and special events, in shop needs, and our wholesale orders. Some weeks book up quicker than others, and we need to plan accordingly with our time schedules and with what ingredients are readily available to us.

  3. Are all of your pastries Gluten Free?

    No, not all of our pastries are gluten free. However, we do offer gluten friendly items on a daily basis in house (and we make sure they are clearly labeled) and at our other wholesale locations.

  4. Is your kitchen peanut and/or tree nut free? Gluten Free, Dairy Free..etc?

    We use peanuts and other nuts on a weekly basis. We also make all of our gluten + vegan friendly options in the same kitchen. While we do maintain safe practices to prevent cross-contamination, the risk is still there. We take potential allergens very seriously, and take every precaution possible.

  5. Which forms of payment do you accept?

    We accept cash, card, check, and apple pay.

  6. How much time in advance do you need for order?

    We always suggest that as soon as you know you need something for the furture, to reach out immediately, as we do book up quickly. For orders that we have on hand on a daily basis/orders over 1/2 dozen on the same item from the bakery case/monthly menu, we recommend 48 hours notice. For other specialty orders, we require a minimum two weeks notice. Though we cannot always guarantee that the date you’re wanting the order for is not already filled.

  7. Is the shop kid friendly?

    Absolutely! We love seeing those little rays of sunshine! We have a parent/kid friendly zone and play area at our shop, and a changing table in our family friendly bathroom.

  8. Do you deliver?

    Currently, we do not deliver any of our made to order breakfast or brunch items, however, we are currently working with Uber Eats to set up an account! We will deliver for bakery orders in town of $50 or more depending on our availability for your date. Fees depend on the destination in Springfield. We always recommend having us deliver and set up for your wedding or any other large special event.

  9. How far will you travel for weddings and other large special events?

    We only deliver to weddings within a 30 mile radius. We have however had plenty of weddings outside of Central Illinois where the couple’s trusted family members or friend’s to pick up their cake and/or pastries. Within the 30 mile radius, we deliver AND set up! We have a flat $60 fee for delivery and set up.
