Three Twigs Bakery represents so much more than simply being a bakery. It also has a “give back” mission for the community. Pastries are donated on a weekly basis to missions like St. John’s Breadline, Inner City Mission, and/or Levi Vincent Ministries. Three Twigs also sets goals to raise money, with the help of customers, for other local charities.
The name “Three Twigs” is based off of the owners, Tim + Emily Lewis’, favorite bible story inspired by the bible verse Ecclesiastes 4:12. The “Three Twigs” represent the relationship between a husband + wife and God.
One twig can be easily broken. Together (two twigs), as husband + wife, they’re a bit stronger. However, with God being the third twig that stands with them, they’re unbreakable. As long as the three twigs stay together, they’ll always succeed.
This business is built on a strong foundation of faith and love. God + the love for each other + the love for the community + the love for customers has always been the main focus, which is why Three Twigs is what it is today.
“Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed.” ~ Ecclesiastes 4:9
“A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. THREE are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.” ~ Ecclesiastes 4:12
“Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for in doing so, some have entertained angels without knowing it.” ~Hebrews 13:2
